In Menominee, City Council candidate Beth Peanosky says it’s time for new leadership — and she’s ready to bring it.

Peanosky is running for Ward 2 and says she’ll support policies to end the city’s ongoing lawsuits and finally put the cannabis disputes to rest.

If elected, she says she’ll back the amendment to reduce the number of dispensaries to seven through attrition, reflecting what she calls the will of the voters, pointing to an 85percent majority in August who supported the limit. Peanosky says seven is enough to help stabilize the city budget and restore order at City Hall.
