In week one of the WIAA Football playoffs.
In division 3, Plymouth defeated Marinette 42-14 as the Marines made their first playoff appearance in 14 years. Plymouth advances to take on Luxemburg Casco next week.
In Division 4, Wrightstown beat Oconto Falls 27-12. Wrightstown will play Freedom next week.
In Division 7, Coleman defeated Randolph 44-6. Next Friday Coleman travels to Roncalli, who beat Royall 40-8.
Crivitz beat Reedsville 42-27. Next week Crivitz will play at number one seed Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic who beat Palmyra-Eagle 55-6
In the 8-player tournament, it was week 2 and Number one seed Lena/STAA beat Athens 14-6. Lena/STAA will play 2nd seed Wabeno/Laona next Friday. Wabeno/Laona beat Valley Christian last night 28-14.
It’s the final week of the regular season in Michigan. Menominee picked up a win as Manistique forfeited their game with the Maroons.
