Today’s Weather Kid is bringing something big… something bold… something we were hoping to avoid just a little longer. That’s right, KARTER CALLOW is officially delivering our first prediction of snow for the season. Yep… he brought the S-word.

Karter is the great-grandson of our very own on-air legend Jim Callow, who has been part of local broadcasting longer than most of us have been drinking coffee. Karter is no stranger to the mic either (See adorable photo attached) Clearly, the talent runs deep in this family.

At 10 years old and a 3rd grader at Trinity Lutheran, Karter loves video games and basketball. Even though he brought the chilly news today, he delivered it with confidence — and Jim looked pretty proud. If we must hear about snow this early, at least it came from a Callow!
