The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office is asking burglary victims to come forward after detectives recovered a large amount of suspected stolen property during a series of search warrants executed in September. According to Sheriff Randy Miller, the investigation solved numerous burglaries across the Towns of Stephenson, Athelstane and Silver Cliff. However, deputies still have a “large quantity of unidentified and unclaimed property” believed to be tied to additional burglaries dating back to 2022. Investigators are asking residents who reported a burglary, or those who may have never reported stolen items, to review the photographs provided by the sheriff’s office on their Facebook page and check for anything that may belong to them.
