Spies Public Library will host a reception later this month for a new art exhibit by regional artist James LaMalfa. The exhibit, titled “Something Old, Something New,” features mixed-media work and will be celebrated with a public reception on December 20th from 10 to 11 a.m. Guests can meet the artist, view the collection, and learn about LaMalfa’s creative process. The library says complimentary coffee and cookies will be available. The event is free and open to the public.
