Hockey and heart will come together Friday night as the M&M Thunder host their annual Pink Out Game to support a local child facing serious medical challenges. The high school hockey team has hosted the fundraiser for 14 years, helping families facing the financial strain of serious medical treatment. This year’s event will honor seven-year-old Harlowe, who is living with a rare and life-limiting neurological disease.
Harlowe’s family has deep roots in the Thunder hockey community, and organizers say the night is about easing the burden while rallying local support.
Fans can expect more than just hockey — with raffles, a bake sale, food, a teddy bear toss for charity, and even a chance for young skaters to hit the ice with the team before the game.
The Pink Out Game begins at seven Friday night against Green Bay United, with proceeds going directly to Harlowe’s family.
