Forty-seven-year-old Scott Klatt was sentenced May 19th after pleading guilty to conspiracy to deliver more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.
Klatt was one of 10 people arrested following a months-long investigation into a methamphetamine trafficking organization operating in northeast Wisconsin and Michigan. The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests in May of 2025.
Investigators executed seven search warrants between April 30th and May 2nd of last year, seizing more than 413 grams of methamphetamine, fentanyl, THC, two firearms, drug paraphernalia, and more than 35-hundred dollars in cash.
Court records show Klatt pleaded guilty in March before returning to court Monday for sentencing. He was ordered to serve three years and four months in prison followed by 15 years of extended supervision.
The remaining defendants charged in the investigation include Gabriel Kurek of Peshtigo, Bruce Cassady of Lena, Johnathan Block of Coleman, John Hager of Peshtigo, Crystal Barthel of Hayward, Maya Lindsay of Marinette, Hunter Shehow of Peshtigo, Maggie Throm of Marinette, and Nickolas Wood of Marinette.
