One of the area’s longest-running summer traditions is celebrating a milestone this year. Art for All returns to Menominee later this month, marking its 30th anniversary.
The annual event will take place Sunday, June 28th, at Great Lakes Memorial Marina Park from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Organizer Laura Chaltry says it’s hard to believe the event has reached three decades.
Chaltry says more than 30 artists are expected, featuring everything from pottery and jewelry to metal yard art. Food vendors, children’s activities and entertainment are also planned throughout the day.
She says one of the highlights each year is the live performances.
Art for All began in 1996 and is now entirely volunteer-run. Chaltry says support from local businesses and volunteers has helped keep the event going for three decades.
