A Daggett man facing multiple felony charges involving the sexual assault of a child has entered a plea in Menominee County Circuit Court.
Forty-five-year-old Travis Scott Thiry pleaded no contest to two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a child under the age of thirteen.
In exchange for his plea, prosecutors agreed to dismiss the remaining charges, including nine additional counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Court records identify Thiry as a fourth-time habitual offender.
The charges stem from a Menominee County Sheriff’s Office investigation that led to a search warrant being executed at a Lake Township residence in January.
Thiry’s fiancée, thirty-nine-year-old Rocquel Anne Irving, was also arrested in connection with the investigation.
Irving pleaded guilty in July to one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a child under thirteen.
She was sentenced in September to twenty to sixty years in prison.
Menominee County Prosecutor Jeffrey Rogg says the case involved the repeated sexual assault of Irving’s twelve-year-old daughter over several months.
Irving had previously agreed to testify against Thiry, but his jury trial was canceled following his plea.
Thiry is scheduled to be sentenced November sixth before Circuit Court Judge Christopher Ninomiya.
