A Menominee woman has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct following an investigation into alleged sexual assaults involving children.
Menominee County Prosecuting Attorney Jeffrey Rogg announced Friday that 29-year-old Bailee Rae Miller faces one felony count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving multiple variables.
According to court documents, the allegations involve incidents reported during October in Menominee.
Miller was allegedly employed as a school bus driver by Choice Transportation, a contractor for Menominee Area Public Schools.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of life in prison, along with mandatory lifetime electronic monitoring and sex offender registration.
Miller was arraigned Friday in 95-A District Court before Magistrate Todd Roach. Bond was set at five-thousand dollars, with conditions prohibiting contact with the alleged victims or anyone under eighteen.
Prosecutor Rogg says the investigation remains active and additional charges are expected.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Menominee Police or the Prosecutor’s Office.
Miller is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
