A new billboard is set to go up in Coleman. The project is led by former Shawano County Sheriff and current Coleman Police Chief Adam Bieber. He says the sign will honor conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Bieber announced the first billboard has already been printed and should be installed within the next two weeks. It will stay up for six months, fully funded through community donations. A second billboard is being planned for Marinette. But Bieber says the cost there is much higher. Setup and printing runs about the same as Coleman—around eighteen hundred dollars. But the monthly rental fee in Marinette is more than double—eight hundred eighty dollars compared to three seventy-five. For now, only one month of display time has been secured. Still, Bieber says he’s confident supporters will raise enough to keep it going. While some suggested including Bible verses on the signs, Bieber says the focus will remain on Charlie Kirk’s life and work. In his words, “If I can point people to Charlie Kirk, Charlie Kirk will point people to Christ.”
The goal is to have both billboards up before October 14th—Kirk’s birthday.
