The Menominee Police Department participates in the Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and announced the arrest of two Menominee men by the task force.

45 year old Allen Kerby of Menominee was arrested for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime. Kerby is currently on the Michigan Sex Offender Registry for the offenses of Criminal Sexual Conduct 1^st Degree (Person Under 13) and Criminal Sexual Conduct 2^nd Degree (Person Under 13) from a past incident in which he was incarcerated in prison for a number of years.

Following the execution of a search warrant Kerby  was arrested and charged with two counts of child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned in Menominee County District Court on Wednesday and his bond was set at $500,000.00.

Following the execution of a search warrant, 28 year old Alexander Aikman of Menominee was was charged with seven counts of child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession and seven counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned in Menominee County District Court on Wednesday and his bond was set at $250,000.00.
