Marinette’s Fall Festival returns Friday with free family activities, food trucks and four hours of live music from The Glam Band—all while helping children in area hospitals.

Fall fun, food and a little big-hair rock-and-roll are taking over Stephenson Island Friday.

The fifth annual Marinette Fall Festival runs from four until ten p.m., beginning with activities for children.

City Clerk Lana Bero says the celebration has grown considerably since its modest beginning five years ago.

Food trucks will serve everything from burgers and chilled drinks to turkey legs and pork skewers.

Admission and children’s activities are free. Purchases made during the festival will also support the Triple C Riders and their work in the community.

Triple C Riders President Scott Behnke says proceeds from Friday’s event will help children receiving hospital care throughout the region.

Organizers are asking attendees not to bring carry-in alcoholic beverages. Beverage sales help fund the Triple C Riders’ charitable work.

The Marinette Fall Festival runs Friday from four until ten p.m. at Stephenson Island. The Glam Band takes the stage at six.
